A New Praxis of Care

Relatives, I am endeavoring in a new project — A Patreon page. It feels scary and exciting. I am sharing a few details below about the work I will be doing over the next few weeks, months and years to come.

As many of you know, I am a mama, licensed Acupuncturist and board certified Herbalist. I also create wellness education materials including curricula, guides, and more.

Prior to joining the medical profession, I worked for over 10 years in nonprofit administration and grassroots organizing. I’ve had the good fortune to partner with collectives, schools and organizations to provide popular education based workshops and presentations.

Intersectional healing is central in how I work and has shaped my commitment to understanding the connective tissue that intersects culture, medicine and ecology. Through Patreon, my vision is to expound on this passion as I continue to build more resources for resilience + liberation.

If you’re not familiar, Patreon is a membership platform that helps to build connection through original and unique content. I’ve been dreaming up this endeavor for a few years now, and I am excited to witness this seedling of an idea unfold, and take root.

As a Welcome, I’m hosting an online retreat that was created to support folx seeking to nurture a solid and sustainable self-care practice. The retreat combines reading and reflection and was intentionally designed to allow space for rest and digestion of the shared materials. We are in a collective moment of contemplation and this retreat honors our current reality.

All of the details can be found on my Patreon page, which I’ve linked for you HERE. I hope that this retreat serves you well over the next week. I’ll be in practice right along with you, as this is my birth month and I am in need of some deep reflection. If you have questions don’t hesitate to reach out.

In solidarity,
