Christian Totty (Black/Cusabo) is the founder of LOAM Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine located on Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo), Shawandasse Tula (Shawanwaki/Shawnee) and Myaamia (Miami) traditional lands in the NW Ohio region. Christian is known for being the first woman of color to own and operate an acupuncture clinic in the area.

Christian founded LOAM in 2018 as the culmination of her passions for culture, medicine and ecology. In addition to a rigorous four year graduate education at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, she has advanced training in diversity, equity and inclusion in healthcare, urban farming, and breathwork.

When she is not seeing patients in the clinic or facilitating a breathwork session, you can find Christian with her partner and little one cooking a warm meal, spending time in nature, or practicing her photography skills.
