Through a virtual consultation you will have a unique opportunity to learn how nourish your life. Utilizing philosophy, somatic practices, and writing we will will work in collaboration to weave together a wellness plan that threads your ancestral wisdom with your current healing goals. During our time together, we will focus on four main areas: food, breath, rest, and love.
Food connects us to land, and is also an essential source of vital energy. After we are born, food becomes one of our main sources of nourishment outside of the womb. As such, it is important to pay attention to what we eat, when we eat, and how we eat in order to maintain digestive harmony, fortify our immune function, and practice joy through the art of gathering.
Breath is a sacred phenomenon in many cultures across the world. Our ancestors evoked the power of the breath through daily practice, traditional rituals and ceremonies as a means to transmit culture, healing wisdom and ecological knowledge. Therefore by working with the breath, we have the ability to reach beyond individual wellness, into collective healing.
Rest is a radical. Whether it is through a rejuvenating nap, a meditation practice, or a deep restorative sleep. Finding time to truly rest is also much more challenging considering the climate we live in. It is even more important that we make moments for rest throughout the day in order to nurture our inner well of resources.
Love is a practice. The discipline of loving ourselves whole is not easy. Some of us do not have health examples of how to love, and far too many of us have been taught to be unkind to ourselves, and others. When we are able to love from a place of authenticity, it can be become a powerful catalyst for transformation.
