A New Chapter at Loam Acupuncture
Dear Community,
I am writing to share some news regarding my practice, as well as exciting opportunities to connect in new ways.
After 15 years in the health and wellness field, I will be taking a sabbatical to focus on personal and professional development. This was not an easy decision to make, but I believe this time and space will allow me to tap into different facets of my practice with renewed energy and clarity. Thus, the brick-and-mortar operation, specifically one-on-one acupuncture services, will be closing, and my last day in the office will be April 30, 2026. All virtual offerings, including astrology and breathwork, will continue as usual.
Although I will miss seeing everyone in person regularly, below I’ve outlined a few ways we can continue working together and what you can expect moving forward.
Records
While I am on sabbatical, the security and privacy of your health records remain a top priority. In compliance with HIPAA standards, all patient records will be securely stored and maintained for the required duration of up to ten years following the office closure on April 30, 2026. If you require access to your records during or after this transition, please contact me directly via email at info@loamacupuncture.com, and I will facilitate a secure transfer or provide copies as requested.
Referrals
I understand that finding continuity of care is important, and I want to assure you that I am committed to helping you transition your acupuncture treatments smoothly. I am currently researching other local practices and practitioners to identify trusted colleagues where you can continue to receive high-quality acupuncture care after April 30th. I anticipate compiling a list of trusted local practitioners and sending it out to all active patients via email by March 31, 2026. I encourage you to reach out to me directly if you would like recommendations or assistance in connecting with another practitioner in the meantime.
Unlimited Acupuncture Pass
I have created a special offer, which I hope will provide some ease through this transition: An Unlimited Acupuncture Pass. The intention behind the pass is to help you move closer to your wellness goals before my sabbatical begins. With the pass, you can schedule an unlimited number of acupuncture sessions between now and April 30, 2026. With an Unlimited Acupuncture pass, you’ll receive:
Unlimited acupuncture sessions until the start of my sabbatical on May 1, 2026.
The chance to proactively address your health goals and stock up on sessions before my last day in the office.
The exchange for the Unlimited Acupuncture Pass is $555, and you have the freedom to come as many times as you wish before the office closes. This offering is available for purchase until March 31, 2026. To get started, book a session online to purchase the pass. Remaining sessions can be scheduled at your convenience via phone, email, or in person during an existing appointment.
Pop-up Community Acupuncture
Community Acupuncture is exactly what it sounds like: acupuncture in a shared space. In a community acupuncture setting, you receive the same amazing benefits at a lower cost. Individual sessions are great for those who prefer privacy or feel safer working with a practitioner one-to-one. If you are comfortable being with others, there is something profound that happens when you receive acupuncture in a group setting that cannot be replicated otherwise. Both options are wonderful, and will support you in reaching your health and wellness goals.
I look forward to offering pop-up community acupuncture circles locally (in and around Allen County) in the near future. If you're interested in hosting a community acupuncture circle, I’d love to support you. To inquire, schedule a complimentary consultation where we can discuss your vision and needs further.
Weekly Contemplative Circles
Starting February 6, 2026, I am opening a membership program, the Wholly Earth community, for weekly contemplative circles and seasonal gatherings. This shared space is intended to provide consistent support and encouragement.
The membership will be hosted through Substack, where I also have my email newsletter. When you sign up for the newsletter with a paid subscription, you’ll automatically become a member of the Wholly Earth community, and receive news and updates. The membership also offers:
A safe and grounded space to slow down, nurture your nervous system, deepen your awareness, and cultivate your curiosity.
An opportunity to start or build a contemplative practice in a supportive community.
Special quarterly gatherings with additional wellness practices and metaphysical teachings to welcome the equinoxes and solstices.
Seminars focused on embodiment and spiritual ecology.
Thank you for allowing me the space to share this important update. I understand that this major shift will require a period of adjustment, and I will do my best to make the transition as smooth as possible. Please feel free to reach out anytime, as I am happy to answer your questions or address anything you’d like to discuss.
Thank you for being a valued part of my practice. I look forward to staying connected and continuing to provide support along the journey ahead.
With sincere gratitude,
Christian Totty, LAc.
